The Couple: Abbie & Bryant
Every couple has their own unique tastes and vision. With Abbie & Bryant, they wanted rustic indie folk. In creating their playlists, we sought out plenty of music that was new to us, some truly lovely songs! We don’t claim to be experts in every genre, but we love broadening our horizons as we discover new music.
Back to Abbie & Bryant, they are really a cool young couple, classy & chic!
The Venue:
The Barn at Lone Eagle
in Sainte Genevieve. There is a reason this place is on our Preferred Vendors list, we LOVE The Barn! The owners, Chelsey & Chandler, are a pure dream to work with and truly assets to the wedding industry. We met their new manager, Morgan, this time out and she was so friendly.
We follow The Barn on IG
and have often fawned over their outdoor dance floor. It is beautifully hand-crafted from wood and is shockingly inexpensive to rent, if you would like to party outside under the canopy of lights.
This venue has such fabulous little touches, the lake, the fire pit, the biggest sky you can imagine!
The Vendors:
We got to work with some truly wonderful vendors at this shindig.
That dress! That was brought to you by The Bridal Shoppe
in Festus.
Food was catered by Farmington favorite, Dana’s Daily Dish. It looked sublime!
Butterfield’s
created the beautiful bouquets.
Hailey Pritchett (owner of Studio 573 Salon) was marvelous with the hair & makeup.
Both Grand Rental Station
and Forever Antiques
supplied some of the rentals.
And capturing the moments, we had the joy of working with PureSonic
as our videographers and Sarah Le’Ann Photography
for the still images.
The Details:
Everything was beautiful and classy. From the cake to the white linens. They had a pleasing little popcorn bar and a totally cute basket with take home blankets for outdoor cuddling. We were too busy to notice much else, to be honest.
The Party:
Entrance song for the wedding party was our custom mix of Bring Em Out by T.I., with Abbie & Bryant coming in to Crazy In Love by Beyoncé.
We kicked off the dancing with Justin Timberlake’s Can’t Stop The Feeling. We kept things clean and classy and kept the crowd moving without the “crutch” of line dances, only throwing in Cupid Shuffle by request. Highlights included the bride and her maid of honor sharing a moment to in The Black Parade, and the crowd rocking out to some old school Van Halen!
Abbie & Bryant shared their Last Dance to You And I by Ingrid Michaelson before scooting out early.
We continued on for another hour entertaining family & friends.
What an incredible night!
